The Project
The brief was to create a high quality purpose built building to cater for 12 market traders on a tightly constrained city centre site. The market had previously contained a number of timber market stalls, which had come to the end of their life.
The design had to respond to the site location in the northern quarter of Manchester - a vibrant creative urban area of the City Centre.
